75th Birthday

Well here is old "Gus" again and this time he's for a gentleman who is "75" the first request was world war but luckily she saw Gus and decided to go with him!! How lucky was that!! lol
Old Gus is coloured with my pro markers.
The papers are a lucky find in my stash I just don't seem to have a very good stock of male papers.
I have added some buttons and card candy to the corners and some spotty ribbon.
To finish of I have cut the 75 out on my cricut with the "Story Book" cartridge.

I am entering the following challenges:

Bearly Mine - 3-2-1 (3 Buttons, 2 Paper, 1 Image)
Passion for Promarkers  -  Ribbon & Buttons

Tomorrow I'm going to hospital to see about my prolapsed bladder & V/W so that should be embarrassing I have been measuring my water intake and output which was fine for the first few hours but then I didn't realise how many times I actually go to the toilet so can't wait for it to be over.

They say life begins at 40, well I'm 43 and its all be down hill for me one day I hope things will get better will just have to keep everything crossed.

Love & Hugs Chanelle xxx

Fab card Chanelle! Had to laugh at your post - not funny I know - my life has gone drastically downhill lately too healthwise I mean. Had my OC, now got hernia and gallstones. Well getting old is inevitable. You have a bit of catching up with me age wise tho as I will be 53 this year! Happy crafting and good luck with your appt, Sheila:)X

Gorgeous card sweetie. I had to do one of those urine things last year which was gross when you live in a house full of males luckily they give you a dark bag to keep the bottle in so others cant see whats in it lol. I hate bowel tests I have to go every so often cus I had a benign cancer there when I was about 34....still hate them they feel so degrading dont they yuk.
Anyway I'm babbling here shug, hope things go ok sweetie.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Hi lovely,
Wonderful card!
I had to do the same test last year.
I thought the same as you, you don't realise untill you have to keep a record!
Things will get better lovely, I know how you feel. It does get you down having to go for tests.
You feel it will never end sometimes.
Stay positive xxx
Love, Mel.
