Teenager card!!

Well at last I have made a card I have had two good days at the beginning of the week but then down hill again and not even been in my little craft room.

Went for an hour to The Craft Den for a demo on Indigo Blu stamps, flitter Glue and mega flakes.  Met some of the lovely ladies on the DT especially Gaynor who I have been following for ages and saw all my lovely crafty friends who I haven't see for soooooooo long and well I felt so at home thank you Lynne.

But today I can share with you the only card I made for Owen's 13th Birthday.
Here is another fab old Magnolia Edwin in Crown added to Edwin's Castle and coloured with pro markers.
These fab papers are from my stash and are just perfect for a boy card!
The 13 and the stars are cut on my cricut which is now out permantly in its new position so that I can easily use it anytime I like.
Distressed the edges of my papers and added stickles.
This is overall picture of my card where you can see I have also used a martha stewart zig zag punch.

The challenges I am entering are:

Midweek Magnolia - Anything Goes
Craft us Crazy - Favourite Stamp/Company
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Craft Your Days Away - Just for Children

Well that's it from me I think I need a good shake now so that I can go and play with my goodies.

Happy 4th Birthday xx

Hello to everyone the weather here has been so much better today and no rain but the forecast for tomorrow is really bad and looks like DH wont be at work!!!

Today I have a few picture to show you so I'm sorry its a bit photo heavy!!

The Craft Den is celebrating its fourth Birthday today and is having a week of celebrations which also include a sale table with some fab bargains! Tomorrow Kay will be doing demo's with Indigo Blu stamps see here on the Craft Den Blog!

Here is the little card I made for Lynne to celebrate.
My design today is a cross over which I have covered with Prima papers.
Used an EK success border punch which I have inked the edges.
Love the window its the boutique stamp from magnolia coloured with pro markers and I have added Craft Den cut out on my cricut with the "Story Book" cartridge.
These beautiful topiary trees and the wine cooler are also from Magnolia just love all the accessories you can get!

Also cut out a large number four and yes cut out more flowers for the front to go with this beautiful feather and pins!!
Here is my little craft room as you can see its very small when it was a bedroom it was only big enough for a shortie bed and my girls are both really tall do as they got older they really didn't appreciate it!! lol
I don't know why but these last few weeks I have felt really claustrophobic in there crafting so I have moved out some of the shelves!
The three door wardrobe is full but I can't show you at the moment its a mess on and I'll let you into a secret the pink and white drawer Rochelle gave me and at the moment they are "FULL" of my Magnolia collection !!! LOL
These shelves I have moved into Danielle's old room in the gab as it really was too over powering in my little room!

So today I have crafted and even though I have had to go to and fro to fetch things I have felt much better and it looks so much more organised and I have my Cricut on the drawers so its ready to go so much better then setting it up every time I want to play!!!

Challenges I am going to enter:

Just Magnolia - Spring Shades
Simply Magnolia - 2 Stamps

Well that's me for today might go and play again or do the ironing oh my decisions, decisions!!! lol

The arrival of Spring.

Yes I'm back with another beautiful image from Scrapbook Stamp Society called "The Arrival of Spring"

She is such a beautiful fragile little thing and look at the yummy Lily of the Valley just delightful!!
I have sat and coloured on and of over the last few days as I've not had a very good weekend so just did bits here and there. The image is coloured in with pro markers and I have added stickles to the flowers.
Decided to cut the image out with my circle cutter then layered it with a cream and pink circle but you really can't see them anymore.
The sentiment is from yep you guessed it Stampinup and cut out with a nestie.
I decided not to put big flowers on my design but used my small retro punch for the dainty flowers that I have placed around the circle then added a peaper pearl in the middle with My Viva Paper Pen.
The paper's are from Prima Madeline Collection and this sheet is the "Parsley Place" added aqua, cream and pink card and some beautiful Aqua ribbon to finish off.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Crafts for Eternity  -  Something New  (Digi)
Fussy & Fancy  -  Punches & Dies
Paper Pretties  PWC202 Create a card for a girl

Hope you had a great weekend with lots of crafty time.

I have used Tough Edwin and Tilda as you can see I have also used the path image and may pole which are all coloured with pro markers and added stickles.
The sentiment is also from Magnolia and I have added a little bow.
Love this Prima paper its a 6 x 6 pad called "Sun Kiss" and is just lovely spring papers full of sunflowers.

Well as you can see I'm really enjoying colouring these Scrapbook Stamp Society digi's. I've just been to have another little look and seen some more that I like!!

Now onto my little card I must admit it did take a while to colour and I did keep leaving it for a while so that I didn't rush and make a mess. The image is call Lily Lily and can be found under the fantasy section here.
Yes its those Prima papers again Madeline Collection "Rosalee" just adore them and just gorgeous colours. I have tried to distress the paper so that it looks more like a frame then inked the edges with distress inks then added some stickles.

Look at the Lily's so please with the colours its right what they say about practice, practice, practice its starting to pay off!!

As you can see had a wee play cutting out some flowers then added stickles, gems and buttons.

Anyway the image should have gone on like the one above but I had already put it onto my card and was not going to admit that was I!!!!!

Well I've sat and played today with some more newbies in between trying to organize my magnolia stamps which I must admit I gave up as I didn't seem to be getting anywhere all I have made is a mess with piles and I mean piles of stamps everywhere!!

Out of the new set my fav's where the Wizard and the Jester but I have got one or two of the others!! So today I thought I'd play with Tilda the Jester but I think she needs doing again in brighter colours.

I have used the Cosmo Cricket papers again as I do love these such beautiful distressed colours.
I have cut out two different sized circles for the layout design and added loads of liquid pearls.
I have added a bell with twine to the Happy Birthday tag which is from the cosmo pack which was for scrap booking and I don't know if you can see but down the side is a strip that says "I soon as I saw you I knew an adventure was going to happen"
Final picture is the overall card with some added flowers and gems.

Well at last I'm back with a card I have been crafting but I can't show yet as its for a GDT spot!!

As always I'm back with a Magnolia creation I must admit I wasn't that fussed on these two images but once I'd seen your fab creations with them I just had to didn't I!!!! lol
I'm really please with my colouring it does look as if it's improving probably as I'm still off work and its the only thing I can do to keep my mind occupied!  As always I have coloured with pro markers and added glossy accents onto the bubbles!  What do you think to the wine cooler and glass just a superb addition for this relaxing lady!!
These papers are a 12 x 12 pad from Tilda and are just lush and so pretty.
Picture of the bubbly with the added strawberry and a lovely prima pebble! Oh and look at these charms a mirror and hairdryer to pamper herself with after.
The sentiment is from "Blonde Moments" and I have stamped it onto a little journal tag that is part of the paper collection.

A small collection of flowers which are from ever increasing flower stash.
Added a couple of different laces one which I have threaded ribbon through and added a small bow and a closer look at the papers where you can see I have distressed the edges and inked.
