Another fab class at the Craft Den xx

As I said yesterday I'd had a fab day at the Craft Den!! Lynne had some great layouts for us to follow and we managed to Scrap all day!! (a lot better than cleaning!!) lol x

The first layout we did was with this beautiful shaped paper from gcd (sorry can remember the name) layered onto black bazzil. We punched our loads of flowers and foliage in white and black (inked with blue around the white flowers)

We also punched out butterflies and round the edge of the shaped paper were pre-cut holes which show up lovely with the black, on every other hole we added a dew drop. In the flower centre's and on the butterflies we used the ice blue pearl pen and the finishing touch "Prima Bling".

The second layout was Bo-Bunny "Love Bandit" papers. We cut out the flowers and layered them up, more pearl pen & stickles where added and the beautiful butterfies and to finish of the title with added stickles.

The final layout is Bo-Bunny " Kitchen Spice" another fab shaped piece layered onto a soft peachy paper from the same range. We managed to cut out!!! "Heaven" loads of flowers and layered them onto the paper and added the co-ordinating brads which are a must have with this paper. Lots of stickles and a little bit of journaling xx

This paper is just made for cutting out!! the flowers are beautiful and I just love the brads.

A new technique!!

Saw a lovely tutorial on the Whiff of Joy Tutorial blog and thought I would have a go!!

All you have to do is do your image as normal and colour in which I have done I have used a House Mouse stamp called "Olive a Party" and coloured it in with my copics. Then you triple emboss and pop it into the freezer. When you take it out you just bend the image and there you have it cracked glass!!! wiped it over with vintage photo distressed ink and layered it onto bazzil.

Used my new Bo-Bunny persuasion papers again "Just Love them", punched a border with my Martha stewart punch added velvet ribbon to match a touch of bling, matching retro flowers and a sentiment.

Last Weeks Layout with Bo-Bunny

Just catching up with all my unfinished projects. This was last weeks layout at the Craft Den which I finished at home yesterday.

We used the new Love Bandit papers from Bo-Bunny and a pink bazzil for the circle and border at the top. While at the Craft Den we cut the circle and top border and used the small loop punch from Martha Stewart. I cut out the lovely blossom which reminds me of spring so I used a lovely picture of Rochelle with her hands in a love heart on her ever growing tummy!!!

Extra flowers cut out and layered up with a gem middle and more of the large hearts from the Martha Stewart Punch. A beautiful bling corner from Prima added that extra glitz.

Finally loads of stickles xx

We used Basic Grey Origins paper for the main background which has a beautiful shape which we used as the main paper and just set if off on black bazzil!! We used a co-ordinating paper for the flowers where we cut the paper into strips scrunched it up and then inked with distressed inks. Made the circle flowers and then added the little flowers as the centre's. We also had some lace ribbon and netting in cream & Black.

Whilst finishing it off with my picture I decided to lift it with crafters companion paper cut in these lovely shapes with my colour my world templates edged with a black pearl pen and I also added some pins & the little sentiment from my stash xx

Nathan is 16 xx

Can't believe that the little boy who walked into my house when he was four is now a strapping sixteen year old!!! Nathan is my Stepson and has shown plenty of attitude over the last few years but today he is "Sweet Sixteen" lol

Wanted to do a Scooter card for Nathan from the girls and found some great Digi images (but so had my niece Kerry) you can find her here xx so this is the one I have used which was a total nightmare as it look me hours to get it printed in the end I had to enlist Lynne for help!!! lol

Nathan has saved up all his Christmas money and Birthday money to buy a scooter hence the card "Nathan & Sheila" she is black & Red so I have done the card to match it's very basic just red bazzil, black dotty and some black gloss card the wording is with "glitter peeloff's" that's right peeloff's!!! a little bit of black stickles just can't not use glitz!! Coloured the image with my copics hope he likes the hair!! Obviously that's why we have attitude xxx
