Another chance to play with an oldie!!!

As you can see from the title I'm joining in the challenge at Totally Tilda with the baby theme and this week you can even use baby Edwin, lots of yummy prizes as well and boy what great inspirational cards from the DT!!!!

On to my little card now, where you can see my old Magnolia "Baby on a Milestone" I have had it for a while and this is the first time its been inked so bad but I needed it and knew it would come in one day!!! lol
The image has been coloured in with promarkers and I have added glamour dust to the wings and some silver gems to the centres of the flowers.
All the papers are Magnolia again from different collections but all tone together beautifully and just added some Kraft for the contrast.
Add the flowers and lush pearl leaves from my stash and the most perfect baby ribbon.
Love this sentiment another obsession of mine and from SU who have the most amazing selection of must have stamps.
A side view of my card where you can see my favourite metal corners, Gems and liquid pearls to finish of the creation.

Midweek Magnolia have a DT call!!

Well I have to have a go don't I!!!

I have just been looking at the entries though and there are some fabulous ladies out there trying out for this call so I have everything crossed but in the end what will be will be will just have to keep trying!!

I had a lazy day yesterday and this is the only card I actually put together but I had so much fun.
I just love this design of card with the acetate in I really think its gives such a great look.
After I had cut all my papers I was actually devastated to realise I didn't have a bride and groom!!!! Why!!!

I did realise after I had had a strop that I had this old Magnolia couple which is adorable anyway so I quickly calmed down. As always my images are coloured with pro markers.
A sentiment stamp that I purchase last year from the Craft Box when Rochelle was getting married and look I have sat patiently cutting out these beautiful flowers it did take a while but I always find it so relaxing.  As you can see I have used lots of stickles and liquid pearls.
My new church stamp which luckily came in the post yesterday and looks so perfect especially with the flourish around the edges.  Cut out the circles to match the front and added lots of stickles.
Here is a closer look at my wonderful flowers really frame the circle on the front so perfectly.
All of the papers are from various ranges of Magnolia and on the back I have used a congratulations sentiment on a small section of a magnolia cake stamp.

The challenges I am entering are:

Midweek Magnolia - Romantic/Chic and DT Call
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Hip to be square
Magnolia-licious - Photo Inspirations (used the grey/blues of the eyeshadow)

Have a fab weekend.

Happy 40th Birthday xx

Well the weather is just gorgeous but far too hot to sit in!! Moaning already LOL Thank you for the lovely comments you left me on my last post I am trying to get back the Chanelle I seem to have misplaced somewhere but its such a long job!!

I didn't manage to cut grass as I remembered a card order for my next door neighbour from her DH she is forty today and he has such a lovely day and weekend arranged for her but she soooo deserved it!

My DH came home from work expecting the lawn to be done and ended up doing it himself gosh I so love him as its such a big job!!

Anyway this is my card the order was: Pink, Girly, Blingy, Cupcakes, ribbon and so on think it was an order for the pizza shop!! lol
My first ever Mo Manning image can you believe that but so perfect for the Cupcake Queen especially with the bling!!
My papers are from a 12 x 12 pad from Tilda and its just so perfect for the vintage theme Kerry loves with the lovely roses and soft colours.
Cut the letters out on my Cricut "Story Book" with as you can see I love and added some pearl bling.
A side view so you can see the yummy papers and my design.
All wrapped up and a gorgeous ribbon that I kept off some chocolates my daughter bought me which was just the perfect match. I have also added the little label for "Francy Cakes" as Kerry makes the most gorgeous yummy cakes and cupcakes she was the lady who made Summers and I can tell you it was divine and I had quite a lot so I should know!!  lol
Wednesday I had Summer for the day and boy what a busy day we had we brought out the garden furniture and washed it all ready for Summer and then we did a little bit of gardening it was such a lovely day just me and Summer!
This is Summers new friend whilst I was doing the garden she was looking for worms howcute is she!!!!
This is a little bit of the garden that I have managed to sort just needs some more bark chippings on then its finished looks like I've left the bird table in the middle of the garden must remember to move it.

I have coloured my image as always with pro markers and added lots of stickles and gems to really make it glisten.
A few weeks ago I went to a demo day with Indigo Blu stamps at the Craft Den and purchased some flitter glue and mega flakes and this is the effect I have around the edge of the image just scrummy!
The gorgeous orange ribbon and flowers are from my stash and the leaf is a EK Success punch.
Sentiment is from Magnolia.

Used my "George Basics" cartridge out and cut out the number one and the banner style nephew.
Threaded the letters onto some ribbon and finished it off with the bows at each end.

Well this is my last week as Guest DT over at Midweek Magnolia's and boy they really made me come out of my comfort zone this week but I do actually love the finished card but I wont tell you how many I did actually start or the pile of white card scraps I ended up with!!! lol

You must popover to look at all the beautiful creations that the DT have come up with just fabulous!

Anyway on to my OTT card.
My new stamps actually came last week but I sneaked them into my craft room while hubby was at work. Here is the new Tilda with Seahorse she is just amazing and looks so perfect sat on the prirates barrel. As always she is coloured with Pro Markers then added stickles.
My word think I went mad with the white dies the main ones I used are Tim Holtz doily edge and tree edge!!
The sentiment is SU and is supported with a pin from Tim Holts not sure of the correct name as I have thrown away the package and the leaves are all from Tim Holtz Autumn Gatherings.
This spikey foliage which I think looks so perfect for the a sea scene is Festive Greenery also Tim Holtz and I have added some lovely little shells sent to my buy the lovely Anne.
Here is a side view where you can see I have also added white liquid pearls, stickles, tulle and gems to finish of the design.

Monday 14 May 2012

Sorry no card tonight!!!!

Well I have no card today as I haven't crafted all week!

But today I have started to sort my ever increasing magnolia collection!

Before I show you what I've been up too, here is a recent picture of my Granddaughter Summer on her holidays a few weeks ago in Wales she really is the ray of light in my life.
Last week I had a brain wave (well I would if I had a brain!!) I remembered seeing these pockets for ATC's and thought they would be so perfect for my Mini collection as I really can't justify a proper Magnolia Binder at the moment and even found the binder in Danielle's wardrobe just perfect!
Just look at the small space the file takes up and its sat perfectly next to my magnolia magazines and my collection of Copic's!
Will show you my idea for all the rest when the postman brings my goodies but my word think this job will take me a while.
I will tell you I am so please as the binder hardly takes up any space the pockets are really good quality and the best of all all my Magnolia sentiment's are all stamped and stored in here as well and I will let you into my secret because I know Allan never looks at my blog I have 28 Mini Magnolia's and I really didn't realise that I had that many so I wouldn't like to say how many standard ones I have.

Well that's it from me today! I seem to always moan on my blog so I wont tonight I will just say that I have hardly left any comments over the last week but hopefully I will be back to my normal dizzy self soon and pop around to see you all!

I know I will be posting Wednesday as I have the card already done for my 2nd week as GDT at Midweek Magnolia and boy I can tell you it really stretched my little brain!

Guest Spot over at Midweek Magnolia's

Well you knew it just couldn't last!! I can't breath without thinking about them or is it because they are all over the craft room as I've still not cataloged them properly yet!! lol

Any way I am so excited to be sharing this card with your today as it's for my Guest Spot with Midweek Magnolia's boy I was so high when I received the email as when I applied I really never dreamed I would be picked!!!

On to my card and I'm sorry but its a picture overload as I just love it!!
When Suzi emailed the themes I thought about the scene straight away but then I wanted to go with pink and thought it would be way over my head to colour them all in pink but I went with it and boy am I glad!
The Tilda Wizard is just my favourite from this collection and I just adore the castle. My first thought was the dragon to go with them but up popped the frog and I think it goes well as Tilda is just about to turn him back into a prince so he can go and find his princess in the pretty castle!! (Think I am spending far too much time on my own) lol
Love the castle looks lovely in pink and the flag have glossy accents on them and the turrets are glamour dusted.
Isn't she just so precious and so me.
Don't think the frog is very pleased though being pink Urgh!!!  But look at the perfect sentiment that I found in the sale bin at the Craft Box!
The dies I have used are Tim Holtz Butterfly Border and Doily Border along with Memory Box flower and EK Success Leaf punch.
A side view of the card and the last picture where you can see the fabulous pink bling and my pearls you can never put too much on a pretty girly card!

The Challenges I am entering are:

TOMIC - Bingo My line is Flowers, Magnolia Papers and Pearls
Crafts and Me - Punches and Die Cuts
Cutie Pie - Monochrome
Just Magnolia - Swirls and Pearls
