Week 18 over at Anything Goes and a new DT member!!!!

We have some exciting news today at Anything Goes not only is it our 18th Challenge but we have a new dt Member!!!!

Kerry has joined us this week so a big welcome Kerry and we can't wait to work with you and share our ideas for the challenges in the future!! xx

Back to this weeks challenge and the theme is "going round in circles" so this is my design a circle easel!!!
I have covered the circles with Bo-Bunny "unforgettable" papers to try to inkeep the circle theme.

The flowers I made with two different sized punched circles and I did the same as before distressing and spraying with water to shape them look like flowers like Lynne showed us at the Craft Den

The image and sentiment are magnolia and coloured in with copics!! Lynne has a fabulous "growing" collection at the Craftden to purchase.

A side view to show the easel and as you can see I have covered all the sides so we have no white bits!!! I distressed the edges and inked with black soot and added silver stickles and bling!! As you can see there are loads of cirles here!!! All products that I have used are available from the Craft Den.

What a busy weekend!

Had a great time at the Craft Den this Saturday none stop crafting, chatting, laughing and of course spending!!!

We spend the day doing Xmas techniques we made in total five cards, a bookmark and a gorgeous bag but will only be showing the craftwork cards today as I have idea's for the others so will show them at a later date.

These are the cards we did with the Craftwork products which Lynne has just taken another delivery of as they are flying!!! The colours are just beautiful but my pictures really don't do them justice!

This card is made with one of the beautiful frames that are already embossed and we used distress inks to highlight the raised bits and to colour the edges. A gorgeous die cut tree and paper candy to finish!! These cards are fab if you need quick cards with no colouring!

The second card is a shaped 8 x 8 and has just one piece of paper to cover a sentiment, two trees and paper candy but it's just enough without going OTT!!

Finally we did the same technique as the first with the distress inks, stickles on the raised bits and a beautiful snowflake covered in glamour dust and held together with a brad, paper candy and a sentiment!

When I arrived home I had a little visitor who stayed the night so we could have quality time together now they don't live here any more and the little mite was up at 5am!!!

So had to wait while she had gone home to do my mountain of ironing before I could craft! But it took me hours (it's the one job I avoid) then I did manage to do some of my DT work which I was really pleased. Hope everyone had a fab weekend.

Another Birthday xx

This was for my little friend Mia who was three, she adores cooking so her pressie was all different cooking goodies and the Tilda with spoon who is just ready to help cook!!!

I have coloured her with my copics and layered the papers with different purple card and sheets from my Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" pad available from the Craft Den.
I have used my martha stewart punches for the border and the yummy butterfly. Added some fab green lace and stickles.

Mia loved her card and pressie and made some yummy muffins for me but unfortunately I've been on the cabbage soup diet this week!! Boy was it hard!!!!

Hope everyone has a fab weekend I'm of to the Craft Den for an all day Christmas technique class!!! can't wait all day of crafting just heaven!! xx

Fit's perfectly for Magical Monday Challenge

Found this perfect challenge blog "Magical Monday" where this weeks theme is "Under Water" so this is my entry!! There challenge is just perfect as you have to use Faries, Angels, Mermaids, Pixies, Dragons, etc on your card or project so this is one for me!!

It was my Crafty Niece Kerry's birthday and this is the card I made. The papers are Bo-Bunny "Peacock Lane" available from Lynne at The Craft Den I have distressed the edges and inked round them.

The lush Mermaid and the perfect little Seahorse are Magnolia and I have used DI's to colour them and added peacock glitters to the mermaid.

A beautiful spray of flowers, leaves, a feather, pin with added gems and gems on wire look gorgeous in this corner.

Then in this corner I have used glue and flower soft to try to look like seaweed!!! Also added these beautiful jewelery beads.

DI's birthday card xx

Well another go at distress inks and I think with more practice I could crack it!!!

On Wednesday night we had a play with all the new magnolias Lynne had just had delivered and I used the shopping Tilda and boutique!!!

The shopping tilda is beautiful and looks lovely with these papers but all I know is that it's a Bo-bunny paper and a lovely coral dotty swiss! Added a lovely border in same papers and used my MS Doily Lace border punch and the perfect matching ribbon (Lynne has a fabulous collection of ribbons that are so lush and well worth a look) added some bling and a mixture of flowers with added stickles!

Here is my baby's cake and boy did she love it!!! the colours haven't come out very well be everything is in pink.

When she cut the cake the outside was marshmallow and the middle was just piled high with all sorts of old fashioned sweets!!! "Yummy"

All products are available at the Craft Den and just to let you know she has a new delivery of the most beautiful EK Success Punches but don't tell who told you!!!!

2nd Anniversary for House Mouse Challenge

And a VERY SPECIAL Monday it is! Today marks the TWO-YEAR anniversary of the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge blog!! Wooo hooo! This week's challenge has been brought to us by the lovely Lorraine of the Design Team. Here's Lorraine's fun Sketch for our anniversary celebration!

We can't miss this can we so here is my entry and yes it's the start of my Halloween and plenty more to come especially now I have my Magnolia Halloween tild's from Lynne's this week!!!

I have used the pumpkin paper see below for a picture of the pad I have used!!

The gorgeous House Mouse if from a sheet of clear stamps hat are all Halloween coloured with copics and some Glamour dust he is perfect with these papers.

This shows you the effect of the foiled paper it really is lush!!! I have used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the orange bazzil I have layered behind the image and highlighted the raised effect with DI'n blacksoot. The border behind is black bazzil and Martha Stewart "Drippy Goo" punch and orange Bo-Bunny ribbon. This photo was also before I remembered the three embellishments on the two corners!!

To finish off in the corner I have used pumpkin nesties added stickles and a button my friend Jill (still no blog!!) bought me from the NEC!!!

This fabulous paper is the specialty paper from atd is has 12 glitter & foiled sheets of the most beautiful papers, the only trouble was which one to use and then because it's so beautiful I didn't want to cover it up! You can purchase this from the Craftden but I was lucky as it was an early birthday pressie from Lynne who I really think is slowly showing signs of being a new Halloween fan!!!! whey it's took my the last few years but she's nearly there!!!!
