Getting into the Jubilee Spirit

Well at last I'm back!!!

I can't believe I've not blogged since Monday but I can't tell you what a rotten week I've had. I went to the Doctor's on Monday and she decided to change my medication well I can tell you it has made me feel so ill and sooo tired. Last night I went for a nap at 7.30 because I just felt so sick and dizzy which has now been on and off all week and well I emerged from my nap at 10am this morning!!! lol

Anyway onto my card for today I thought since it was Jubilee weekend I would get into the spirit so here it is.

Tilda with a flag from the Bon Voyage range added to Sign post and dare I say a Molly Bloom flower stamp.
I decided to paper piece the flag and dress and well my brain has done a runner and it has taken me ages its still not perfect but it will do.
The papers are Potabello and where a freebie from a magazine they where perfect as my card is 8 x 8 and these where A4!
The beautiful Red ribbon was actually from some PJ's my daughter bought for me a few years ago and on the other side it says "Disney" I knew one day it would come in handy.
Flowers are Retor punched in three sizes and added some beautiful pale blue bling.
The banner was just hand cut from the scraps and added with some little cotton bows at each end.  I have hand written "Parade" on the sign post and used two of my much loved metal corners.
Side view where you can also see the little tag which has "Miss You" stamped on and a little bow to finish.
Challenges I am entering:

Saturday Challenge - anything Goes
Cards for Eternity - Royals
Tilda Town - Edwin/Tilda with an accessory stamp (Tilda with Sign Post)
Oldie but Goldie - Anything Goes (Ribbon is from Christmas 2010)
Party Time Tuesday - Anything Goes
Divas by Design - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me - Add a Ribbon
Moving Along With the Times - Cool Brittania Red/White and Blue
Delightful Sketch _ red White and Blue
Cup Cake Craft Challenge - Royalty
Pink Elephant - Spots  photo inspiration
Joanna Sheen -  Remember When
Craft Your Days Away  -  red, White and Blue
Lets Ink it up!!  -  Favourite Embellishments  (Bling, Flowers and metal corners)

Well I can't tell you how long this post has taken me and now I have the sickness feeling back think I will just make the link up's!! lol

Hope you all have a fabulous long Jubilee weekend.

Love and Hugs Chanelle xx

Chanelle, so good to see you post again, but I'm terribly sorry that you're under the weather here lately. I envy your "napping" abilities. I don't think I've slept past 6 am since I was a teenager. I'm sure you'd rather be up and running and crafting so I wish you the very best and a speedy recovery. Your card is sensational. I love the patriotic colors and of course, your coloring.
Get well soon,
Hugs to you,
Lisa xx
