Ikea meets 7 Gypsies

Purchased some new storage from Ikea (think I need to go back) these have turned out better than I expected!!

All I needed to do was to decide what papers & paints to use that was a job in it's self. Anyway 7 Gypsies won just love this paper. I used my dabbers to do the first layer then covered the edges with crackle paints and when this was dry wipes it over with my adirondack ink pad!! I then covered all the side with the papers!! and even if I say so myself I think this has made a great home for my paints and ink pads xx

All paint dabbers, ink pads, crackle paints and papers available from the Craft Den.

That is so gorgeous, and it's always nice to know that this lovely piece of storage is a one-off, nobody else has one quite like you!! A really great job, and I think you should get a commission from IKEA because I bet they're going to sell a load more of these now ( I definatley want one!) Jane xx

The storage drawers look amazing, what great use of the gorgeous paper. I painted my drawers with gloss paints first which was a task and a half! http://daisy236.blogspot.com/2009/07/what-busy-week.html How did you do yours....do we need a class at Craft Den???? You are just so creative. I may have to re-do mine or its a good excuse to buy more storage to fill with more stuff! LOL!
