Dug out an oldie xxx

I'm back today with one of my first purchases from Sugar Nellie a few years ago its a Leanne Ellis design which if you check out her work its just so beautiful.

I have coloured my image with pro markers, the wings are stickles and the clock face I have added glossy accents. The image looks so much better in the flesh the shading looks fine but not sure now in the pictures think I need a lesson on shading around my image.

Didn't want to put too many flowers on my card so I have just made a lollypop flower and added a brad to the middle.

How good am I more papers from my stash these are Blonde Moments "Spring Fling" papers and I have had them for ages but thought they where perfect for spring! My border down the side is a Martha Stewart "Doily Lace" punch

Added this beautiful piece of bling, yummy yellow ribbon and stickled around the edges of the papers.

The Challenges I am entering are:

Moving along with the times - Lots of Layers
Paper Pretties - Punches or Die Cuts (PWC194)
I Love Pro Markers - Time
Crafts & Me - Shades of Spring
Divas by Design - Bling it up.
Simon Says - 3 Different Papers

That's it from me today! Sorry I've not been round commenting much but I'm finding it hard to concentrate on things at the moment with things at home I just wish I could get my personal life sorted out!! Fingers crossed that one day it will happy again!

A big hello to my new followers and to everyone who leaves me gorgeous comments they always cheer me up.

More gorgeous paper xx

I would just like to say thank you for all your comments on my last post I really wasn't happy with the card but I do love the design!

Anyway today I'm back with one that I am happy with I just love these papers, more beautiful flowers for me to cut out and that always makes me feel happy.

These papers are from Bo-Bunny and are the "Kitchen Spice" collection I must add that I have had these several years but since I am off work I seem to be working my way through my stash. Just love the cutout flowers they look beautiful and are all edged with marmalade distress inks.

This cute little mini Tilda was a gift from my niece Kerry when I wasn't able to go to the NEC. I have coloured it with my pro markers and added glamour dust to Tilda's wings and the bunny's tail.

The ribbon which is just the perfect colour was actually off a bale of towels from next I just knew it would come in one day.

Added a gorgeous diamante heart ribbon slider, glass beaded leaf, magnolia sentiment and two beautiful pins.

Side view of my easel card showing the two wooden buttons on the base.

The challenges I am entering are:

Magnolia-licious - Spring
Magnolia Down Under - Sketch
Crafty Card Makers - Recipe
Saturday Challenge - Bingo Ribbon, Flowers & Glitter
Crafts & Me - Distress
Crafty Ribbon - Paws
Truly Scrumptious - All creatures great & small

Thought I'd have a go at something different!!!

Now I'm wishing I hadn't bothered!!!

Whilst looking through yesterdays challenge blogs I saw that Donna from Craftheadcase had once again created a bendy card which is just fabulous and so I thought I would have a go!!!

Today I thought I would finish my card as last night we had our darling Granddaughter Summer and boy I did wonder why I had bothered with the something different!! Maybe its because I feel down today but here goes anyway thought I would give you all a laugh!!

This was going to my my Mothers Day card but I think it will just be a template! lol

My main Tilda is from the Candy I won on Debbie Dolphins blog at Christmas, mini cherub and this wonderful ribbon wreath stamp all coloured with pro markers but as you can see the main image I have paper pieced.

The papers are from Magnolia the colours where a bit bright so I have distressed them with vintage paper and I have added bazzil to them! The butterfly border is one of Tim Holt's.

The beautiful Tag and sentiment are from Magnolia and added so lace from my stash.

A picture of the center of the card whilst laid flat!

Fairytale xx

Well I'm still off work and cracking on with birthday cards this one is my great niece who's birthday is in March. I normally do my cards the night before so I bet there will be a lot of amazed friends out there!! lol

The challenge over at Magnolia Stamp Lovers is "Fairy Tale" and I thought I would play along!
I do love the finished card and its just perfect for little Izzy who when she's not doing rugby tackles likes having her nails painted!! I have used Tilda "Princess with a Frog" coloured with my pro markers and I have added glamour dust to her beautiful wings!

This idea with the poles and and bunting I actually saw in one of my magnolia ink magazines and so this is my take on the idea instead of using skewers which I didn't have I have painted some wooden sticks that my niece found in her works canteen!!

The ribbon has tiny love hearts on the edges and looks lovely wrapped around the poles and a little bow on the top to finish them off, the bunting flags I have glued to some beautiful pink & white twine then added the bling letters.

Found these perfect Princess papers in my stash and I aren't they just divine!

Added this cute little tag with my new "Princess" sentiment on and some flowers at the bottom of the poles to finish them off!

The challenges I am entering are:

Magnolia Stamps Lovers - Fairy Tale
Just Magnolia - Tag
Nadia's Challenge - Party
Totally Paper Crafts - Ribbons & Bows
Diva's by Design - Wings & Things
Simon Says - Tag it

Well that its for today!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Out came my Memory Box corner die which I'm also loving at the moment and this wonderful crochet circle and brads I can't tell you how lang I've had this circle it just sits in my stash waiting to be used and today its just the perfect colour!

The flowers I have cut out and edges them with distress inks shaped them and used pinflair to glue them in place.

All of the edges have been distressed and I have added stickles on the flowers and on the red berries glossy accents.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Tomic - 3 Patterned papers, 2 or more embellishments & 1 image
Totally Tilda - Tilda in a hat

Nathan's 18th Birthday xx

Hello everyone sorry I've not been around again for the last few days but I have been having off days and didn't feel like doing anything.

I am here today with my Stepson's birthday card for tomorrow can't believe that the little cheeky boy who started coming to my house when he was nearly four is now the handsome young man on the picture below! Sorry but its another wedding picture as these are the only recent ones we have!

Well a few weeks ago I won the Kenny K challenge and along with some beautiful papers I have had from Sweden I also got to choose 5 new digi's and this is one of them Party Time which you can buy here. I have coloured the image with pro markers and have used glossy accents on the can, glasses and birthday bracelet.

I have used black & red Card with some Blonde Moments papers which I have inked up so that they all blend together and my new Tim Holt's Die I have wanted this was ages and I picked it up for a great price in a fab sale! I normally hate doing male cards but with my new die found this one really easy and I have loads of Tim Holt's metal embellies so added these for some extra interest.

Here is the picture of Nathan with Rochelle and Brett on there wedding day looking very handsome!

I am entering this into the following challenges:
