This is my layout from Thursday's class at the Craft Den!! When I went home to complete my layout (as I hadn't taken my picture's) I couldn't find any that went with the page and the pink elements so I have taken off the ribbon & replaced the flowers with some purple ones.
We used Blonde Moments Yorkshire Pudding paper and a plain black bazzil on the Yorkshire pudding paper we used a Tim Holts background stamp with black ink and then used a purple pad for the smudged effect on top. Out came the Colour My World template "Totally Stamped" for the two edges and left the others straight then went round the black with a white pen and the Grey with a black pen. We also used the flourish template again from Colour My World for the faux bling!!
I have stamped a sentiment and love heart from my Prima stamps (Build a Swirl) that I received at Xmas!!! These are yummy and also available from Lynne's and then put the flowers on in black & purple with a lovely hat pin to finish off xx Nearly forgot we have the most yummy cake which Mary made it was devine!!! Thanks Mary xx
You can see Lynne's page here, Kerry's here Natasha's here and finally Joe's here xxx

Paper peicing at the Craft Den
This weeks technique at the Craft Den was paper piecing!! I have done this once before but only very basically so really enjoyed it!! The hardest part was the flower as the stem is very thin and very fiddly but I love cutting out so it was a challenge xx
We used My minds eye papers for the background and border and the new Nellie C's just in at the Craft Den but selling really fast!!! We also did the flowers also with new punches in from Nellie C, (set of two one punches the flower then you pop it into the nest one to shape it)
Finishing touches - glamour dust, pearl pens, Laura Ashley brad & ribbon.

New arrival xx
My cousin Niel & his wife Lucie had there first baby last week, my aunty passed away over 10 years ago but Niel was her life and she would have been so proud!!! The baby is called Edward Louis Robinson so I thought I would use Tim Holts stamp which is a very regal looking baby boy which just goes with baby Edwards name.
I have used my distressed ink pad for the background and then stamped round the edges with a background stamp and a christmas stamp from Tims range, added some faux stitching around the edges and around the wording (can get the faux stitching straight) lol. I have then stamped the main image onto mount board and triple embossed it so that it looks like a tile and added the bling to the crown text done on pc.
Finally I have added the tickets and a pin hope you like it!! I do but OH not impressed (can't repeat what he said it looked like)

12 Week Scan!!!
My take on Thursday nights class at the Craft Den.
We did this beautiful layout on Thursday! I choose to put my daughters scan picture which was when she was 20 weeks!! Hence why I have been naughty again and added pink!!
We used this fab "Paris night" paper from gcd as the main background on plain grey bazzil, then we added plain black paper and Bo Bunny "Unforgettable" papers which match perfectly we also used these for the flowers which we punched out.
We used the treading water punch from friskars and then threaded black velvet ribbon through, the centre's of the flowers I have used pink liquid pearls and black diamonds stickles. The flourishes are prima pearls as I wanted to go with the pink theme and the butterfly's are a MS punch and then dipped in glamour dust. We also had the beautiful black flourishes cut on the sizzix.
We also learnt a technique at the class using acetate and the pearl pens to make our own flourish bling which is excellent as you can use whatever colour you desire!!
Thanks Lynne for another fab night and beautiful layout xxx

Therapy at last x
Well I have had a little therapy!!! Been to this weeks Scrapbook class at the Craft Den and had a great time!! It's no wonder we all miss it we all get on so well and always have a great night full of laughter, chatting and crafting.
Last night we did this fab layout with Black Market papers and cream bazzil it's so vintage. We cut out the border down the edge of the roses and some individual ones and then the postcards and edges them with distressed ink's. We did a faux bling with colour my world flourish template and a brown pearl pen and once at home I found a picture of my mum & dad on a family holidays (years ago) added some beautiful prima flowers and some punched foliage (the large cream flower was a little too bright so sprayed with glimmer mist in Tiger Lily) loads of stickles on the flowers and the family title cut on my cricut xxx
Not very happy with the photo's as they really don't show the true colours of the papers but it was dark this morning before work and dark when I get home. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend xxx

Used Daisy Bucket papers "Whimsical ladies", lilac bazzil & purple Bo Bunny dots. Used my favourite nestie to cut out the shapes, coloured the image with copics and added glamour dust & stickles. Printed out the sentiments on PC. This was my 1st go at the previous challenge but like I said didn't follow the instructions!! Personally I love it and I hope Ava did too! xxx

Sugar Bowl Challenge x
This is m take on the "Sugar Bowl" challenge!! I must add that this is the 2nd card I have made but I strayed away from the sketch (as people know I don't follow instructions very well and even though I love the card I have done I managed to put my image to the side not the middle so will just have to blog it later to show you) This is my NEW digi image from Sugar Nellie there are six in total & I have purchased 4 which are all fairy themed!
I have used a dark green bazzil and my minds eye papers for the background I used my new nestie to cut out the front panels and coloured in the 2 fairy's with my copics. Added a bit of glamour dust and went round the image with my bronze pearl pen. The sentiment I printed on my PC and a bit of ribbon to finish off.

Little Man's two this week!!
Can't believe it but Ryley is two this week!!! He is such a little cutie!! (or monster as his mum would say!!) lol
Anyway as you all know I really struggle with "boy's" so here I have used a digi download of a little Super Hero who is now "Ryley" coloured it in with my copics and used my nestie frame for the background added paper candy and cut the super on my cricut (which was broke but thanks to a very special person now works and has saved me loads of pennies) I did cut Ryley as well but it just looked daft so add the little (peel off) letters xxx

Well I've decided I don't like snow!! You have to risk you life to get to work!! only to find out that there is no craft class tonight!!! How bad is that!! lol xxx
Anyway here is a scrapbook page I did yesterday when I couldn't manage to get into work!! It a page of my beautiful daughter Rochelle who is 26 weeks pregnant!!! I have used plain bazzil & a pink page from the asparagus range from my minds eye (I think?) punched out retro flowers and added a gem to the centre and stickles to the edges a bit of prima bling and a quote from my stash!! really enjoyed doing this can't wait to do my scan picture's of my little "Granddaughter" xx
Don't know if you can see but Brett is peeking round Rochelle's belly "when he comes to the house he always knocks and says "It's only little old me" so I have added this to the picture xxx

Not been around for a few days as I've had a really bad cold & sore throat "DH found this really funny as normally he's trying to keep me quiet"
Any way "Happy New Year" to everyone!!
As I felt a little better today thought I would go with one of my new years resolutions (to have the courage to enter a challenge!!!) and I have found one just up my street Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge!! "Less is more..... but more is better!" It's a brand new challenge blog which has started today the theme is "NEW" which is very apt as it's my New Years resolution!!!! They also thought it would be fun to go with the blog colours so here goes here is my entry!!
As pink is my favourite colour this is just perfect I choose one of my Gorguss girl images and coloured her to match the backing papers which are black bazzil bling & pink bazzil with my favourite flock papers from g.c.d all available from Lynne at the Craft Den. I used my MS Valentine border punch, bling and a black pearl pen, black velvet ribbon and sentiments from craftwork cards I have even done the inside with the same border and a nestie and to finish a lovely stamped sentiment!!! Now I just have to hope that I've linked it correctly!!! lol
