Paper Artsy

Today I have been very good and I have sat and stamped images for two hours ready to colour!! This is because everytime I need a quick card I never have the right image so I thought I would sort myself out and get well ahead.

Coloured a few in then decided I'd had enough colouring and wanted to make cards. This one is with the lovely christmas fairy from Paper Artsy (Ann kindly let me stamp a few with her's) I have coloured her with my copics and put it together with the Rum & Raisen paper's (beautiful not only for christmas you can use some anytime) I used my new Cornice MS punch down the edge of the card and matched it with a strip of paper, I then cut out my image on my nesties and layered it with a different paper from the same set.

I have used my Glamour dust down the side of the punched edge and new Pearl pen in light blue (you must check out the Craft Den for new colours in these) on the scalloped nestie.

Finally I have cut out snow flakes (shapeabilities - snowflake wonder) and covered them with glamour dust and new Cosmic Shimmer "Glitter Jewels" and added a sentiment. Overall I am very pleased with the fininshed card xx Everything that I have used is from Lynne's except the Fairy stamp but I have it on very good authority that it's on it's way!!!!

Lot's of spraying of beautiful ink's

Had two great classes this week at the Craft Den. Wednesday night we did Xmas cards with the new Blonde Moments Christmas papers. We had a really good night and to make it even better Ann brought the biggest box of chocolates!!!! Will post my picture later for my cards as I need to put the finishing touches on!!!

Last night was the scrap book night and we used the black & white GCD flock papers we could either do a layout that was my sample for the papers or do the papers but use the inks on well I chose the inks and they look fab!! pictures just don't do these inks justice but believe me they all looked fab!! Added some bling and a beautiful die cut flower.

The final picture is a card I made for a lady at work for her daughter I must admit that my friend came to my rescue with the coloured in image (thank you) and I put it together with the new Kitchen Spice papers from Bo Bunny, beautiful flowers and a sentiment.

The first card I have cut out the image in the circle nestie and added stickles round the edge, bazzil card and rectangle nestie shapes for the background and the flowers where made with a snowflake punch and a little gem in the centre leaves are my branch Martha Stewart punch.

The second card is the same image coloured in with the Blonde Moments, Bo Bunny papers a few gems and blonde moments buttons, a bit of ribbon and a sentiment.

Off to make my Halloween Atc now xx

FAB DAY SCRAPBOOKING XXX

Had a great day at the Craft Den (as always) we did scrap booking all day!! 3 layouts!! that's what we like (seeing as we have so many books on the go) The first page was with the new black market paper's the pictures really don't do the papers justice as they are so yummy!! This page is for Isabella's christening day, we took so many photo's but ended up with none of her on her own in her fabulous dress (dare I say very expensive dress lol xx but well worth it as she looked gorgeous) Added the little bit of bling and used Lynne's favourite pearl pens.

The second page the background is Wisteria Papers with the lovely PrimaVera flower paper from Paper Adventure. cut out the flowers and I used the pearl pens for the centre's this is a page for Billy who I found asleep in a plant pot outside and was very annoyed when I woke her up to the the photo's.
The final page is once again wisteria paper (obviously) cut out the falling wisteria I added stickles to the flowers we then added the flourish which I inked with distressed inks more Pearl pen and some punched flowers. This picture is my sister Tracey with Danielle's on her christening day (we left it a bit late she was 13 mths)

and to end a lovely day Ava arrived just before it was time to leave in a beautiful little knitted dress with matching tights and hair band. So just had time for a little cuddle and a few kiss's xxx

While I printed it out Lynne made me the 8 x 8 card, we matted and layered the image and put the backing sheet's on then when I got home I started to cut out the forget-me-nots!!! quite a while later I glued them into place and added a little blob of gold stickles xx A beautiful little cherub in the corner, new in this week at the Craft Den and a bit of ribbon. Really love this card as the image is just what I wanted.

This card is from the kids it a beautiful picture of Isabella when she was first born!! These are the new 7 Gypsies papers also new in this week (8x8 scrap book pack) This beautiful pink paper with the chandelier is just perfect for out little cherub!! xx

So Sweet!!!

It was my usual Thursday night scrapbook class last night at the Craft Den and as always it was a great layout. Had a lovely time as usual with great company and new face's last week we had a new lady called Kelly who enjoyed it so much she was joined by her mum Lynne.

We did the Bo Bunny paper's "My Darling" cut out the fab shape and layered onto the green with the faux stitching around the edges. On the main shape we cut round the flowers so that we could put the picture behind them once we had done this we once again used the pearl pens lol xx punched out little scallops for the flower centres and used some crafty notion glaze for the pink petals and some of the Green finished it of with the words "SO SWEET" as it's my baby dusty who is just so soft the Tiger Lily uses her as a bed!!

Don't they look so cute!!

Desk Tidy!

Well I've gone of track again!!

Started this desk tidy a few weeks ago (another Ikea purchase) first I painted around the edges with a raspberry dabber when it was dry I painted blonde moments crackle glaze and then the final coat was a cool peri dabber, you can see the great effect on the last photo!!
I then cut out all the side's, back & front and all the insides with the blonde moments suet pudding papers. Finally I did a fairy for the front but couldn't face putting a picture of myself on so did a cat face!! I said it was a desk tidy but don't know where it will go as the desk is full!!! lol xx

Out of my comfort zone!!! well nearly

It's my niece Kerry who has a birthday tomorrow and as we go to the craft den together we have loads of stamps which are the same so I thought I'd go for distressed!! Well I nearly made it but as you can see the bling got the better of me. I used my distressed inks for the background colour and stamped round the edge's with Tim Holt stamps some faux stitching around the edges to finish off. I have then stamped my Stampotique stamp by Daniel Torrent straight onto the background then stickled it and a chandelier in the corner with you've got it gems!! Well I'm nearly there, hope you like it xx

Halloweeeeeeen!!!

Well this is my first ever Halloween project!! even though I love Halloween as its my birthday. I have found loads of bloggs that just focus on this date that have some really individual inspiration.

Wednesday nights class at the Craft Den we made this wonderful circle "hanging" can't for the life of me think of the correct name!! lol xx We used distressed inks to do the backgrounds and the I used Tim Holts background stamps! we where supposed to be using lovely flowers and flourishes & masks to make this but I decided to be a little different!! I also used Tim's seasonal grunge (can't tell you how excited I was when I realised there was Halloween in this not just xmas) also used stickles, glossy accents, fibres, blonde moments ribbon and my vintage Halloween stamps from Artistic Outpost. Really please now it's finished.

Blonde Moments & Sizzix dies

Had a really good night last night (as always) at the Craft Den. The layout is with a lilac bazzil background with the circle done in Blonde Moments paper, did lots of faux stitches and flowers with the sizzix die, retro punch in three sizes and a martha stewart punch, doodled on the flowers and used the pearl pen from Viva which is Lynne's favourite product at the moment lol we also used a sizzix die for the flourish and then used the white pen to go round it!! I had a new picture of Danielle and Tiger Lily which goes beautifully with the colours and the layout!! Lynne's had a gorgeous picture of Little Ava on it, hope she posts it she's so beautiful xx
