The get well stamp I have had for ages and is just lovely, added some bling and two beautiful ribbons.

Sunny Days xx

Well I'm back today with a card that I actually coloured with my polychromos  yesterday but never got round to finishing it as I had another one of those days and ended up having an afternoon nap to try to ease the old headache!!!

Anyway what do you think to my colouring I'm quite surprised to say it was my first attempt but I don't think the camera has done the images any justice they look so much better in the flesh.

On the my images I decided to go with the surf look for a hot sunny day on your summer holidays which I don't think we will be seeing this year.
I have used some natural hessian behind the images and I have also used a strand to thread these yummy beads where I have also dangled a beautiful starfish.  For the top to cover the large dollop of glue out came the hessian again and I used two threads to make the bow and to tie it together finally a blue button.

Tilda with her surfboard looking slightly flushed from the sun or have I overdone the rouge!!!! lol  Added stickle's and glossy accents.

The whole card where you can see the lovely distressed seaside papers which are just perfect for this scene.  Added a pile of shells to the bottom a lovely gift from Anne over at Midweek Magnolia (she sent me some lovely stamped images to play with).

Edwin with his surf board and lots of stickles.
Finally a side view of the card.

Magnolia Anniversary Card

I'm back with another Anniversary card and guess what I forgot all about it!! lol

It's my niece's 2nd Anniversary I wouldn't mind but we where talking about it last week when we crafted together and I still forgot!!

Anyway here it is and of course it can only be Tilda and Edwin as Kerry adores Magnolia's coloured with pro markers.

This little beauty only popped through my door this afternoon so I think I was meant to forget.  Aren't  they just so beautiful.
These are my Websters pages "Petite Papers  -  Ladies & Gents Trendsetter" added to dark green and red card stock.
Flowers are from my stash and again I have used my new foliage punch from L-Em along with two pins one is from Websters Pages but I must admit I am actually disappointed with them dare I say I thought they look a bit tacky!!!

The picture's are really bad the sun was out and I found it really difficult to get good pictures!

This overall view shows you the lush lace ribbon and all the bling I have added.

Forever Friends Anniversary xx

Another Forever Friend this time an Anniversary card for Kerry to give to her DH of eleven years xxxx

Found this perfect decoupage in my stash (isn't it surprising what you remember you have bought)!!! I just knew one day it would come in handy!! lol

I can tell you she loved it and I just hope David did too!!! lol I did add him the crown so it was more manly although I surrounded it with pink a and red hearts.

The paper are from a 12 x 12 pad from DCWV "Madly in Love" added to red and black card stock.  The key and keyhole are a Tim Holtz die which are just perfect with these papers.  Stamped the sentiment with a tag stamp then some Woodware words.
Love the inside these papers are just so lush and superb patterns!  I found a lovely verse on the internet which I cut out again with a heart die and added some bling.

Side view where you can see I have also used the papers on the back as well and remembered to add my personal stamp!

GDT Spot over at Ginger Loft Challenges

A few weeks ago I won a Top 3 place over at Gingerloft Challenge and on top of the honour of being on the Top 3 I was also asked if I would like to do a Gust DT spot!

Well yes please I would love too, so here is my card.

I'm actually late posting my card as last week Tammy had to go out of town so only the DT cards where posted and then well you know me I forgot to check if it was there later in the week! LOL

Anyway better late than never.
The theme is "Vintage" and as I was able to choose a digi from gingerloft, I went straight to the vintage section and choose this beauty!

I have distress the digi with Tim Toltz inks and then added some mega flake with flitter glue then in the flower centers I have used yellow stickles.

The Prima paper is just perfect as its also has wonderful sunflowers on, I have also used this kaisercraft sentiment, some punched flowers and this beautiful vintage postcard stamp all edged with distress inks.

Added some lush lace and a marianne die butterfly with a gem body which looks perfect and here you can also see that I have distressed the paper edges.

Final picture is a side view where you can get the gorgeous shimmer of the flakes.

Challenges I am entering:

Pan Pastels - Summertime
Cute Card Thursday - Use punches or drink related
Bearly Mine - Tic Tac Toe - Dies/Flowers/Sentiment
Southern Girls - Things with Wings - Butterfly
Craft Your Days Away - Bingo Flower/Lace/Gems

Thats it for now will be going around doing my comments.

My laptop has been so slow for the last week and was so fed up with it I just kept giving up but yesterday I decided enough was enough and sat removing files, restoring etc, etc and hey presto it seems to be working!!! Not bad for a girl who isn't computer literate!! lol

Don't forget to enter my "Thank You" candy which you can find here!

Would like to say a big hello to my new followers and of course everyone who leaves me beautiful messages and takes time out to visit my blog xx

Fathers Day

I had another order this week from my Friend Kerry she needed a Father's Day card and an Anniversay.

The theme for ther Fathers Day card was either DIY disaster or England and I know she adores Forever Friends so here is my design.

How lucky was I when I went to my Niece Kerry's for some crafting she had this perfect Forever Friend image and so kingly let me borrow it!!!

I have coloured this image with my Copics as the Red's are much brighter in these than pro markers either that or I'm using the wrong colours!!  lol

Added glossy accents to his little nose which has made it a bit bigger!!! lol also to the teddy on the arch.

Used plain card in Red and black and the main distressed look paper of a sheet from Tim Holtz.

Did a border around the image and added some gold pearls, some ribbon and buttons to finish.  Can't be added all the flowers and fussy bits can you.

The middle I have inked this perfect Dad sentiment and distressed it.

I am entering the following challenges:

Delightful Challenge - One for the boys
Fussy and Fancy - Boys/Attitude
DYSU - Boys/men
Pink Elephant - Masculine
